Aissa top

This top began as a Mauritanian melhfa, dyed entirely by hand using local tie and ligature techniques. Each piece is knotted, dipped, dried and revealed over hours of work, so no two ever come out the same.

Reworked in awa's atelier in Nouakchott, the melhfa is reshaped into a cropped long-sleeve top with slim sleeves and a split neckline that closes with a hand-knotted tie.

One size left available fits XS to M. The cropped cut sits close to the body and the neck tie adjusts to you.
