Zebou Blouse

This top began as a Mauritanian melhfa, dyed entirely by hand using local tie and ligature techniques. Each piece is knotted, dipped, dried and revealed over hours of work, creating subtle variations in colour and pattern. No two are ever exactly alike.

Reworked in Awa's atelier in Nouakchott, the melhfa is transformed into a voluminous babydoll-style blouse with a rounded silhouette and wide long sleeves. The chest is embellished with hand-embroidered Ghanaian beads.

The blouse has a loose, generous cut designed to be worn with ease. One size fits approximately M. Last piece available.
