Hand Dyed Melhfa Top, One of a Kind

This top began as a Mauritanian melhfa, dyed entirely by hand using local tie and ligature techniques. Each piece takes hours of work, the fabric knotted, dipped, dried and revealed, so no two ever come out the same. one.

Reworked in awa's atelier in Nouakchott, the melhfa is reshaped into a flowing top with butterfly sleeves and a soft V neckline. Hand sewn Ghanaian beads across the bust.

One size, fits S to L. The relaxed cut and tie waist adapt to every body.
